About Me

Thank you for visiting! My name is Charity, though most of my family, and many of my friends call me "Chari." (thus the title of my blog.) :) I live in the beautiful region of East Texas.

In 2005, I married my best friend and the love of my life, Mark. He is the best hubby a gal could ask for. He's kind of a geek, but I like him that way! (besides he keep our computer in line!) :) He's a software engineer during the week, and on weekends he is usually tackling some project around the house. We love exploring back roads and learning history together.

Mark and I are excited about starting our family! After dealing with years of infertility, God has lead us to adoption. We can't wait to bring our little one home! What a precious miracle adoption is! We are working with an adoption agency we feel that God has led us in choosing, and we are open to whatever He has in store. I have a special place in my heart for adoption and for the birth moms who choose to place their children in loving families. I can't wait to see how God writes our family story.

A little more about me: I am a full time homemaker and I love it! My interests range from history to reading to education but working with fiber (knitting and spinning etc...) just about tops them all! I love to be creative and make things beautiful. From time to time, I also enjoy wielding a can of spray paint and running my grandmother's sewing machine. In all things, I seek to honor my Savior, Jesus Christ.

So what will you see here? A little of this and that! I'm no "niche blogger." (not that there is anything wrong with that!)  You'll see some knitting as I'm working on and finishing projects. You'll see a little of our home. I share bits of our life and happenings. That's enough about me, though... I'm eager to know more about you!!
