With all the work getting ready for the update, I figured this room was the best it's ever looked, so I grabbed some quick pictures!
We live this room! As I think I've said before, this is the biggest master bedroom we've ever had! We are really enjoying the space! (And glad there is room for a baby in there too!) here's the overall view:

The armoir is decorated, but the bookshelf ends up being a catch all... Gotta work on that! I also have a few more things that I may hang in my corner, but I'm not set on it. I might just wait and see.
And that is our room tour! I'll try to share the rest of our little place in the next couple of days. It is, after all, almost the end of the 31 days! :)

ReplyDeleteI read in a magazine once that they always use (or try to use) double beds rather than queen beds for magazine shots of bedrooms, for the very reason you mentioned! They just look so big!

ReplyDeleteWhen I read how your social worker arrived early for your home study, I chuckled to myself. It has been over thirty years ago and I still remember how nervous we were as we got the house all ready for our home study. Our social worker arrived a few minutes early, too. As I opened the front door for him to come in, I saw the bag of trash that my husband and I had both forgotten to take out in the pre-visit excitement. I had put the bag right by the front door so we wouldn't forget to take it out. Our social worker was so sweet and kind. He acted like he hadn't even noticed.
